Brighton, July 4 Fourth of July festival begins at 10am at Meridian Centre Park. Rides, food, entertainment from the Skycoasters. There is a 5K Race and Pancake Breakfast at Twelve Corners and Brighton High School. Fireworks display in the evening. 700 Meridian Centre Road; www.townofbrighton.org
Branchport, NY Celebrate the fourth in the Fingerlakes. Fourth of July Festival starts at noon, parade is at 1pm at the North End Marina, and there is a fireworks display at 10pm. The town has various festivities throughout the weekend. Visit www.yatescounty.com for more information.
Brockport, July 4 Brockport is hosting an “Old Fashioned Celebration” at the Morgan-Manning House where you will music, children's activities, historical oral presentations, and much more. Canandaigua, July 4 Parade begins at 10am followed by a picnic at Kershaw park in Lakeshore Drive. The theme of this year's Fourth of July Festival is "Energizing Our Community."
