While today there are three places where Bobby Byrne’s food and drink can be enjoyed, the original is still the best.
Steeple Street in Mashpee Commons is one of the pedestrian paths in the mall, so diners who prefer al fresco eating in summer are unhampered by traffic noise and smell.
Good basic food at Bobby Byrne’s Pub
The menu at Bobby Byrne’s covers everything from simple soups to full dinners. Their Portuguese kale soup is one of the best around. And crab cakes are done in real Maryland style with a tasty aioli.
Hearty and fresh best describes the food at Bobby Byrne's Pub. Burgers or fish and chips are always a good choice here. Seafood and grilled meat entrees are also available for those wanting a full dinner.
And on those warm summer days, the choice of salads, from mixed greens to tomato mozzarella, will satisfy while keeping diners cool.
Bobby Byrne’s is a year round Cape Cod fixture
Unlike so many restaurants on the Cape, Bobby Byrne’s Pubs close only on Thanksgiving and Christmas, making them a local favorite year round. The interior of the original pub is warm and cozy and having a quick lunch in the bar or a leisurely meal in the restaurant will chase the winter chill away. In summer the outdoor café is a great place to spend a few lazy hours on the way to or from the beach, watching the world go by.
Other Bobby Byrne's Pubs on Cape Cod
The two other Bobby Byrne's Pubs are found in Sandwich at Rte 6A and Tupper Road 508-888-6088 and in Hyannis at Rte 28 and Bearse's Way 508-775-1425. They feature the same hearty fare and friendly staff.
