Country star Dierks Bentley premieres video in honor of new 'Sideways' hit on iTunes

First, multi-platinum country artist Dierks Bentley got “Sideways” with country radio with his latest hit from his new CD, Feel That Fire. And now, he’s following suit with country fans with a just-unleashed music video in honor of the “Sideways” hit.
Bentley filmed his brand-new video last month at a Nashville nightclub, with help from director Michael Saloman and choreography by Hihat, who’s known for her work on Apple's iPod commercials, as well as for stars such as Kanye West, Missy Elliot and Lil Wayne.
Chatting up the video, which made its world premiere on iTunes on April 14, Bentley (who's nominated in the 2009 fan-voted CMT Music Awards) said its creation was a good time on all fronts.
"'Sideways' is all about cutting loose and having a good time, and this is the most fun I've ever had making a video," Bentley shared. "The fans brought killer energy to the set. The choreographer and dancers were amazing and so talented. I was totally unaware that break dancing to a country song was even remotely possible until this video shoot! It was a total blast.”
First-time daddy Bentley’s latest CD debuted at No. 1 on the country album charts, and thus far, the second track from the disc is already the fastest rising single of his career, cracking the Top 20 in only five weeks.
“(‘Sideways’) was such a fun song to write,” shared the country star, “and I hope it's one our fans will be cranking their stereos up to 11 to all summer long."
