We want Daiya!
Dear Whole Foods at 10th and South St.,
You have made many vegans in the Philadelphia area very happy by offering Daiya cheese on your delicious pizzas! If you're not aware, Daiya is pretty much the best vegan cheese to hit the market to date.
Being so tasty, vegans are on the hunt to locate Daiya cheese wherever we can. Daiya is currently not available in retail packaging, but many places that carry it for food service have begun portioning it out in smaller portions and selling it by weight. As of right now, there is nowhere in Philadelphia that sells Daiya by itself.
Sure, it's great on pizza, but it has many other culinary uses as well. Many of us have resorted to paying ridiculous shipping fees to have Daiya shipped from online stores that are offering it in portions smaller than the 40 lb bag. Actually, some of us have purchased the 40 lb portion and divided it up!
With all of that out of the way, would you be willing to portion out some Daiya and sell it to us for home use? Clearly, this will be a mutually beneficial relationship.
