At the end of the first quarter the Raiders have the ball deep in Charger territory following an interception by Chris Johnson. JaMarcus Russell has not looked crisp with the Chargers touchdown following a Russell interception. The Raiders are running the ball effectively. The CJ interception has seemed to give this team some life.

Pregame note: Former Raider Barry Sims did a good job in fill in duty today for the 49ers, as they nearly upset the Indanapolis Colts.

Raiders won the toss after Nnamdi Asomugha called tails, and they will receive.

Raiders first drive: The Raiders drove from their own 28 yardline out to midfield on the strength of the run, with a short pass to Zach Miller mixed in. WIth the ball at the midfield stripe, JaMarcus Russell threw into triple coverage and it was intercepted.

Raiders defense: It took two plays for the Chargers to move the ball 59 yards for the touchdown. This does not look promising at all. Rivers hit Malcom Floyd for a 53 yard pass and LaDainian Tomlinson powered it in on the next play.

Raiders second drive: After a false start set the Raiders back five yards on first down, the Rauders could not convert a first down. On third and four JaMarcus Russell overthrew an open Zach Miller by about 15 yards.

Raiders defense: The Raiders get a stop, but in a sign of the run of luck the Raiders have been on, Sam Williams gets a hand on the punt, but it still manages to roll down to the 11 yard line.

Raiders third drive: Three runse for seven yards and then its time for Lechler to take the field.

Raider defense: After the Chargers converted a 2nd and 19, Chris Johnson picked off Phillip Rivers.
