Feeling rushed? Don't have time to scour the web for all the latest in Raider News? Here is a quick rundown of all the latest news that's fit to report on the Oakland Raiders and the Raider Nation.

  • Javon Walker is still nursing a hamstring injury. He needs to practice today in order to be able to play Monday night. Al Davis must be thinking, "I talked him out of retirement for this?"
  • Kirk Morrison was voted as one of the defensive team captains. No truth to the rumor that his first words after getting the news were, "Beam me up, Scotty."
  • Tropical Storm Mike Shanahan which has been brewing over Denver is expected to be upgraded to a category 1 hurricane by Sunday and hit Oakland Monday night. The damage is expected to be minimal.
  • The Raiders had former 49ers linebacker Brandon Moore in for a workout. Al Davis denies the rumor that the Raiders are going to be renamed the Oakland 50ers.
  • Lane Kiffin is hoping that JaMarcus Russell slides after a scramble to avoid injury. Denver Broncos defenders are reportedly hoping the same thing.
