You don’t need to be a current student at San Jose State University to use the Sport Club Fitness Center and the Aquatic Center  to get into shape this summer.

Famous groups, such as the US Olympic Synchronized Swim team, have used the sixty meter pool at the aquatic center. The aquatic center also provides recreational and lap swimming, as well as water polo and classes for children 3 and up.

The Sports Club Fitness Center has everything you need to get into shape:  treadmills, stair masters, elipticals, weights, cybex bike, Concept II Rower, fitness classes, racquetball courts, and a rock climbing wall.

Summer hours began June 1. Both the aquatic center and sports club are open from 7:00 am to as late as 10:00 pm on some evenings. You can also take fitness classes at the Sports Center for only $80 until August 7.

The aquatic and fitness centers are located at San Jose State University at one Washington Square, San Jose.
