Coolibar introduces sun protective clothing with zinc oxide

Coolibar, a sun protective products company has just introduced a new long- sleeved sun protective T-shirt made with Zno Suntect fabric and has a rating of UPF  50 plus. UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor, the standard rating system that tests and measures a fabric’s ability to protect the skin from the initial onset of skin reddening caused by UV-B rays.

The T-shirt is embedded with particles of zinc oxide, a physical sunblock and can not wash out. Coolibar also carries women’s hoodies and infants’ sun rompers that contain this sun protective fabric. The fabric is made with 70% cotton, 25% bamboo, and 5% stretch spandex.
