Pizza Hut has had this stuffed crust pan pizza promotion for a few months, but I finally got to try it recently. Perhaps you've seen the Pizza Hut stuffed crust pan pizza commercial with Jim Breurer?(Jackpot!)

Anyway, PIzza Hut is offering a large, 1-topping pan pizza with a ring of cheese in the crust for $10.99.  I was pretty excited to try it because I totally loved Pizza Hut's stuffed crust back in the day.

First impressions, the pizza looked and smelled great. The pizza was amply decorated with pepperoni but the pepperoni tasted a bit too greasy. The cheese, too, was pretty greasy even after patting it down with a napkin. The crust was limp and tasted soggy, but I was still pretty pumped to taste the stuffed crust. It was definitely the best part of the pizza--but not as good as I remember it tasting in years past.

I know I sound a bit critical of Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pan pizza; but overall, it wasn't bad. I still ate 3 slices of it for dinner and a slice for lunch the next day, so it's not like I ate cat food or something. Basically, I will put it in the category of "you get what you pay for," and $10.99 for a pan pizza is really cheap.

The best part of the Pizza Hut stuffed crust pan pizza is a tie between the stuffed crust and the Jim Breurer commercial.
