Restaurant chefs can now easily purchase gluten free products from Food Innovations, a subsidiary of Innovative Food Holdings. The new gluten free line includes over 100 products. Conte’s gluten free lasagna, stuffed shells, and manicotti are available as well as frozen soups.

Chefs can also purchase a gluten free frozen variety pack, which includes breads, buns, rolls, bagels, and muffins. The dry variety pack includes pasta, breadcrumbs, pizza crusts, pancake/waffle mix, white bread mix, cookies, and crackers. Food Innovations sells many gourmet products, which are naturally gluten free. Here are some quotes from the press release this week.

The gluten free products we now offer enables us to enter this rapidly growing market category and to further serve the needs of people with Celiac disease who require full access to gluten free products. We are proud to be able to offer these products to our customers."

Since the recent launch of our gluten free line we have received an overwhelming response from our end user customers all across the United States. We expect to continue to expand this line of products and to further expand our activities in the gluten free market."

We believe that the rapidly growing gluten free market is an exciting new potential growth area for the company. We intend to leverage our distribution capabilities to further penetrate this market, explore gluten free partnership opportunities and to create overall value for the company."

The products are distributed by U.S. Foodservice, one of the largest food service distributors in the United States. This is exciting news that should make it easier for more restaurants to add a gluten free menu.
