Every single garden website, blog, twitter page, magazine, newpaper, you-name-it is talking about when to start your seeds indoors. Tomatoes, eggplants, and all the hotties should be started soon.

I just came across the Victory Seed site and want to thank Margaret of Away to Garden for posting the link.

for Idaho

Idaho Falls 6/14 9/4

Pocatello 6/12 9/6

Sandpoint 6/5 9/3
Shoshone 6/7 9/10

 

That means, in Boise, if you want an 8 week start for strong tomato plants, you should plant them on April 7th. Backtrack accordingly for your town.
