Dear loyal readers,

For the next couple of weeks, you may notice that I won’t be posting as often. No, I am not leaving Examiner.com, but I am leaving the country for a little bit to the lovely land of Europe. While there, I shall wear a beret in France, do some bullfighting in Spain and will be having a leather buffet in Italy (not of the Folsom Street Fair variety, but of the luxe leather goods variety). For my trip, particularly France, I have been studying two TV shows: Beverly Hills 90120 (the original one) and Saved by the Bell. I am immersing myself in two informative episodes.

For 90210, I have been jumping into the skin of Donna (Tori Speilling). She went to Paris and was “discovered” as a model whilst eating a pastry. I also live through Brenda (the brilliant Shannen Doherty) as she fakes a really bad French accent to romance Dean Cain.

For Saved by the Bell, I feel like I am Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), jetting off to Paris for a tween magazine photoshoot. All the while Zack plots to keep me at Bayside so that he can have me all to himself, therefore keeping me away from my dreams.

Nonetheless, you will be without my random fashion discourse for the next couple of weeks – but I guarantee when I get back I will have plenty of stories to tell. Until then, please imagine me as Carrie Bradshaw falling in Dior (Sex and the City season 6). I am sure something like this will happen…
