Remember back in the '80s when everyone was crazed with eating really gimmicky health food so that they could fit in those skintight Jordache jeans and their "Let's Get Physical" leotards? Beverages like Tab and food items like a new spongy concoction called tofu invaded refridgerators all over America, but there was one item that shined brighter than all of them: Sizzlean. The almost like bacon food product was a magical breakfast item in the health food world and it's slogan was the coolest: "Move over bacon, here comes something leaner!" - and the commercial featuring floating strips of Sizzlean is probably the cheesiest thing ever. I love it.

To this day, I say that with pride as I remember my mother serving this to us every Saturday morning. Seeing that a bunch of '80s trends are coming back into fashion, I think it's time that Sizzlean make a comeback.
