For 75 years Lacoste has managed to make crocodiles chic. The menacing reptile (would it be considered a reptile?) has become synonymous with the fab polos and other garments that Rene Lacoste started over 75 years ago.
To celebrate their signature animal, they have created a collection of 9 shoes that inspired by mythologies associated with crocs (not the other brand of hideous footwear) all around the world.

The Revan 3 NYC gives us a taste of croc mythology in Lacoste's new collection of footwear
There’s the Ogata India, inspired by the Hindu philosopher Shankara and his relationship with the Mugger Crocodile. And you know that urban legend of uber-mutated crocodiles in the sewers of New York City? Well, Lacoste cleverly are showcased this story in the street-chic Revan 3 NYC. Then there’s my personal fave: the Rene Lacoste Japan. These sneaks tell the story of a blind men who was left to drown by his cruel sons via a gorgeous crocodile skin print upper inspired from traditional Japanese silk kimono.
