Forget all those 99 cent reusable grocery bags from Safeway and Trader Joe’s, the Papier Tyvek Bag is the paper bag to have. It’s waterproof, can’t be torn and it just looks cool.

Actually, this fancy bag made of durable high-density polyethylene fiber, shouldn’t be used for groceries – it’s too swanky for that. With an origami-chic appeal and minimalist style that can pass for a normal bag.

The two styles were recently shown at Rendez-Vous Contemporary Fashion Tradeshow in Paris.

.What do you think of the bags? Very chic and streamlined? Or a pretentious piece of art that will eventually be useless?
