Hathaway and Hudson are at 'War'

Actually, they look like a bride and groom rather than the feuding BFFs they play in their movie, "Bride Wars" (in theaters Jan. 9).

At the premiere of their movie, famed stylist Rachel Zoe dressed Anne Hathaway in a Band of Outsiders tuxedo and Kate Hudson in an printed Oscar de la Renta gown. Zoe said she actually wanted to do the bride and groom thing when she styled them.

The two may be dolled up as man and wife archetypes at the premiere, but in the movie, they wore some gorgeous dresses. Costume designer Karen Patch worked with the wedding gown oracle, Vera Wang to create original dresses for their ficitional "big days."

The collaboration were definitely inspired by some of Wang's past collections...well that's how I see it:

In the movie, Emma's (Hathaway) wears her mother's wedding dress whereas Liv (Hudson) wears something a little more traditional, but with a considerable jolt of modern charm.

"(Emma's dress) is an exquisite taffeta dress with lots of layers, an off the shoulder period gown," said Patch in a statement. "Liv, on the other hand, was like the bride on top of the cake. Her gown was styled in a classic, sweetheart neckline with layers and layers of tulle skirt, a long train and lace bodice."

Which gown would you wear down the aisle?
