Wait a second...who won season 5 of Project Runway? My point exactly.

The most exciting part of this once-beloved reality show of aspiring fashion designers was the whole "Should we air this show on Lifetime or not?" legal battle.

Season 5 Designers: (top, left to right) Jerell, Leanne, Wesley, Joe, Korto, Kenley, Daniel, Emily (bottom left to right) Blayne, Jennifer, Kelli, Jerry, Terri, Suede, Keith, Stella — Bravo Photo: Barbara Nitke. Wow. Even this picture is boring.

I wasn't even that floored by some of the designs from the contestants. I had no desire to invest in the fifth season. Kenley's "I know best" attitude would've normally been a reason to make me watch the show (a la Santino season 2), but I just did not like her. I didn't even love to hate her. She was just foul.

Nonetheless, I tried to like the fifth season, but watching it was like visiting the dentist - it's something I had to do.

Let's hope the next season captivates and inspires. But there was one redeeming quality of the season. Two words: Tim. Gunn.
