You have to set up a meeting for your flower, garden and brain surgery group. You call the four board members to arrange a date. Between doctors appointments, kids scout meetings, HOA association meetings and third wife's appendectomy - setting up a date is near impossible.
MS Outlook is one solution. There are two problems that immediately come to mind. Everyone must have a copy. Everyone must use the calendering feature. If your crowd is this disciplined, then Outlook is a winner. However, what if you live in reality? Enter When Is Good. First of all - the Price. When Is Good is free. Yes you can upgrade, however it's not needed. When you log into When is Good, you see a calendar. Select a series of dates and times, give the meeting a title and enter it. You will then be directed to an email. Enter the folk that you want to invite. They will get a link which will expand to a sub-calendar. As expected, notifications go back and forth and you can update your iCal calendar.
Not bad?
