Lets Party Hearty Vendor
Make at Takes at LetsPartyHearty.com

As always, a fun time was had by all at this year’s Great American Scrapbook Convention (GASC) in Chantilly, VA. Scrapbookers and stampers filled the Dulles Expo Center all weekend to crop, shop, look, and learn.

GASC hosted crops Thursday all day and on Friday and Saturday nights. A lot of scrapbooking pages were created and plenty of cards were stamped. There were goodie bags and door prizes given away, as well as special vendor sales that were available only during the crops.

This year’s GASC sponsors were Scrapbook Corner, Quick Quotes, Fiskars, ScrappinOutlet.com, Scrapbook Adhesives, and Sizzix. A total of 69 vendors had booths for attendees to visit.

GASC truly had something for everyone. For stampers, there was My Favorite Things, Stamps by Judith, Stampers Anonymous, and many other industry favorites.

Those looking for mini album or page kits had The Button Farm, StoryTellers Club, and The Treasure Box, and others on hand.

SEI, Rusty Pickle, and many other well known companies in the industry were also there with new products and old ones that many wanted to stock up on.

There were many interesting demonstrations and Make and Takes. Vendors like PK Glitz and Muddpuddles consistently had crowds around their demos. Make and Takes were plentiful at both the Learning Pavilion and in many of the vendor booths.

Local retailers like Angela's Happy Stamper, ScrapbooksPlus, and Fredericksburg Scrappers were also present doing Make and Takes.

More than 75 classes were available for all skill levels. As well as, classes for traditional and digital scrapbookers, interactive and traditional stampers, home décor creators, mini album makers, and those wanting to learn new techniques.

Most of all, this fun-filled weekend full of cropping, shopping, looking, and learning was a great opportunity for crafters to get together with others that share their passion.

Thank you to all of you that donated cards to CARDSFORHEROES.ORG during GASC.
