The Gays are buzzing over the upcoming Softball World Series hitting town this week through the end of the month. The selection of Seattle as the location is kind of a big deal and locals are excited about all the new faces around town.  Four thousand softball players from around the country and around the world will descend upon the emerald city to play and party for the eight day event.
Several bars, clubs and restaurants will celebrate and entertain all of the players, sports junkies and curious bystanders throughout the next week.
Sports are not typically associated with the gay community, but when you see these guys in action you will definitely be impressed as they throw down on the field.  If you are tired of the same people every time you hit the mean streets of Seattle or if you dig men in uniform; this will be the place to be.
Don’t worry if you have not made it out to any of the functions so far. There are still 6 days to go. There is a pool party, talent show, party at Neighbours, Block Party at RPlace and a Tea Dance at Chapel. I think there are some games tossed in there but I have a feeling that despite our interest in the games, most of us will head out to the parties.
