Discovery at the launch pad

Update: NASA is planning for a 24-hour turnaround. The launch most likely will take place at 8:45 p.m. EDT Thursday.

Original post follows.

Tonight's launch of space shuttle Discovery and the STS-119 mission has been scrubbed due to a leak in a fuel line.

Normal tanking operations began just before noon EDT at Kennedy Space Center. The tanking was almost complete when a leak in a hydrogen fuel line was spotted.

NASA will release more information later.
