If you've ever had the yen to ask an in-flight astronaut a question about life in space, here's your chance!
NASA is inviting you to submit a question to astronaut Greg Chamitoff, who's working onboard the International Space Station (ISS), 220 miles above Earth. All you have to do is fill out the fast-and-easy form provided in the resource link at the bottom of this story.

Here's a hint on how to improve your chances of having your question answered: do your homework! NASA says that questions that haven't been routinely asked before, and those about the current mission, have the greatest chance of being answered.
Mission Control will upload questions to Greg. The questions he choses will be published on the web--with your name attached.

In July, Greg chatted via Amateur Radio with students at the European Space Camp 2008 in Zanka, Hugary. Greg (call sign KD5PKZ) answered six questions for the group. Seven countries hooked into the session via the EchoLink AMSAT and the EchoLink JK1ZR. The audio file may be found on the ARISS-Europe Web site.
Greg recently celebrated his birthday while aboard the ISS. What a way to mark your birthday--living and working in space!
