Find out more about Patricia: An award-winning journalist, author, and former NASA spokesman, Patricia Phillips has written about space for international markets since the 1970's. She's a skilled platform speaker, anthologized poet, and popular Native American story teller. Her love for space began when she watched Sputnik sail overhead and thought the whole idea was as magical as anything she could ever imagine. She still does. |
I had something really cool happen last week--a chance to appear on the rockin' Minnesota Public Radio show "In the Loop". (And I don't even have the Sarah Palin twang--but I do great covered dishes and I know how to talk Minnesotan, you bet.)
Host Jeff Horwich has a bright, funny style. Well-informed on just about everything, Jeff covers a wide range of topics--from say, pirates to poetry--with a quirky, fast-paced show in a conversational style. Producer Sanden Totten, who booked me in for the gig, is also a joy to work with.
If you want to access just the space news section, here's how. The timing numbers go downward, counting down to the end of the show. So move the counter until you hit about 9:45. My clip runs to 5:37.
That's if you're in a hurry. My best advice, though, is lean back, relax, and listen to the whole show. Check out Jeff's bank, in case you're tired of bright, cheery robot voices telling you how much your business cares about you but they're far too busy to talk to you. (Gotta love the wolves and snakepit guarding the bank!)
