As part of the Examiner's October rockin', Best-of blowout, I've been on the search for the best space music. The kick-off of Oct. 1 was especially great for the Space News column, because it coincided with NASA's 50th  anniversary.

Today's selection in the space-age smorgasbord: Elton John's Rocket Man, complete with NASA footage of astronauts,  mission and flight controllers, walks on the moon, plus some added animation--and views looking back at sweet home Earth.

Space is a tough business, and a very human business. This video, pairing a 1972 Elton John with images, is a must-see.
