The Taking of Pelham 123 is currently the number eleven film in the United States box office making over sixty-two million dollars. This film is a remake of the 1974 film of the same name.

This film is a tense and entertaining thriller that is quite well made. There is a lot of suspense and action which creates a good escape for audiences. This film may not be the most perfect movie but what it lacks in imperfection in makes up for with great direction and characters. The two leads portrayed by Denzel Washington and John Travolta were well played and well layered characters and their scenes together were the best parts of the movie.

Audiences who like character driven movies with lots of tension and action filled scenes should find this film entertaining.
