The latest supergroup to emerge hails from our fair City of Angels. Monster Circus is comprised of 80’s rock arena legends Tony Montana (Great White), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio), Bruce Kulick (KISS), John Corabi (Motley Crue, Ratt) and Fred Coury (Cinderella, Arcade).
The group, founded by Montana, Sarzo and Corabi, formed late last year from common musical interests, playing a debut show at the Las Vegas Hilton. The show went over so well that the group decided to keep on keepin’ on, and they have landed a standing weekend gig at the Hilton. Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider will guest during March.
The show is described as “a truly unique spectacle. Monster Circus combines a high-octane live rock concert with sexy dancers, human circus acts, aerialists, freaks and of course, a tour bus full of platinum certified rock stars. An irreverent ringmaster along with Sicko The Clown, Monster Circus’ mascot, lead the audience along the 75-minute journey through the powerhouse rock and metal anthems of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.”
If you happen to find yourself on the short trek to LA’s nearest mecca in the desert, plan to see Monster Circus – it’s guaranteed to be a pleasant surprise!
