Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie have reconciled

After seven years, Angelina Jolie, 34, and her father, Jon Voight, 70, have finally reconciled. However, it may not be an every day thing where they talk, but they have definitely re-connected.
According to Us Weekly, Voight confirmed and said, "We're in touch, but not regularly. We love each other and that's the most important thing."
So who made the first move? According to a friend of Jolie and Brad Pitt, "Angie made the initial contact. Brad [Pitt] has been supportive - a key factor in her reaching out."
Back in 2001, a teary-eyed Voight appeared on Access Hollywood, where he pleaded for his daughter to get some help, for some "serious mental problems."
