After being pushed back multiple times, American University was finally able to have its Campus Beautification Day.  Students, faculty, and residents around D.C. participated in this long-awaited event.  This annual project not only included main campus but also Tenley and Brandywine.  Starting at 8 a.m., participants planted trees and fresh-smelling flowers all around these locations.  At noon, they went to the amphitheatre for a barbeque and a raffle.  Finally, everyone who helped plant got a free forever free T-shirt.  So, take time and appreciate the flowers.
