I would have found some justification for posting this video regardless of what Examiner I am. Shoe Examiner? No problem, they all dance in shoes. Health Examiner? That's easy, Jack Black stars as Jesus in the musical, and black rhymes with track.

Fortunately, being a Music Examiner, I can post this hilarious star-studded video, written by award-winning Hairspray composer Marc Shaima, without any reservation. There are too many celebrities to list, but a few include Jack Black, John C. Reilly, Neil Patrick Harris, Craig Robinson (Darryl from "The Office"), Andy Richter, and Sarah Chalke ("Scrubs").

On election night, we made great strides as Americans electing the country's first African American into the Presidency--just several decades after accepting segregation as an everyday part of life. With that said, it's really sad seeing California moving backwards with the passing of Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in the state. There has been a great deal of opposition to the passing of the bill, as can be seen through nationwide protests (I took part in the march in DC), and I think the fact that so many celebrities got on board with this video is a case in point.

Someday we will put a stop to these inequalities that have plagued the United States. In the meantime, enjoy the video--it's bound to make you laugh.
