There are several events this summer that can provide homeschooling families with fun, exciting, and educational experiences. Here is a list of events that my family will be attending.

Vergara explores the transformation of Harlem over the last 40+ years. the exhibit will show some before and after images showing industrial, architectural, social and economic growth. Exhibit runs until July 12, 2009.

 

Peter Pan 7 Adventures in Neverland

The traditional story of Peter Pan has been updated and rewritten to reflect modern times. The setting is now NYC and characters no longer have British accents and behaviors.

For children 5 and under, Totally Tots help promote literacy and cultivate an interest in science. The colorful, whimsical world allows tots to explore various areas through pouring, climbing, listening and creating at their own pace.

Gazzilion Bubble Show

A mixture of art and science, Fan Yang showcases the mysterious world of soap bubbles. The Gazillion Bubble Show' is the first and only interactive stage production of its kind, complete with fantastic light effects, lasers and jaw-dropping masterpieces of bubble artistry. Children and adults of all ages are sure to be amazed, mystified and enchanted!.
