Class participants will enjoy a hands-on cooking experience with Executive Chef Kevin Provenzano at Carlucci Restaurant in Downers Grove this October in honor of National Pasta Month. Chef Kevin - who recently had a cameo on the Style Network’s premier episode of Giuliana & Bill preparing a gourmet dinner for the Ranics - will lead the class through a variety of pasta dishes.

Pasta dishes that will be highlighted include: Black Tagliolini, Tagliatelle with Lamb Ragu and Mushroom Ravioli (full class menu available below). At the end of class, students will dine on the items they helped create, paired with wine in addition to a specially selected dessert crafted by Chef Kevin – Apple Ravioli with Cinnamon Crème Anglaise and Crumbled Amaretti. 

WHEN:            Saturday, October 24
                        1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Black (squid ink) Tagliolini with Sea Scallops, Braised Calamari, Crushed Tomatoes, Garlic, White Wine, Capers, Celery and Chile Flakes

Tagliatelle with Lamb Ragu, Pecorino and Mint

Mushroom Ravioli with Smoked Caciocavallo Cream Sauce

Dessert (not part of cooking class) - 
Apple Ravioli with Cinnamon Crème Anglaise and Crumbled Amaretti
