Looking for the perfect Father's Day gift for dads of little ones?  Make a playlist of Daddy songs and favorite dad song writers.  Voila....instant daddy tradition!  No moms allowed - this music is just for dad.

Here are a few of my favorites.  Please be sure to add your favorites to the comment list below.

  1. Dad Caught Stars by Justin Roberts
  2. Daddy A Go Go is a goldmine of daddy songs like I Caught My Daddy Watching Cartoons, Daddy's Changing Diapers, Dads Who Rock and Dads in the Sky
  3. No! by They Might Be Giants (everyone's favorite)
  4. Jam House Blues and Jack-a-Lacka by Hot Peas and Butter
  5. A Word for That by Bare Naked Ladies
  6. My Own Two Hands by Jack Johnson
  7. The For Our Children CD has Bob Marley singing Give A little Love and Bruce Springsteen singing Chicken Lips and Lizzard Hips
  8. Boogers by Rock Daddy Rock (it's a boy thing)
  9. My Name is Joe (lots of versions but this one by Silly Joe is great)
  10. What a Wonderful World with Louie Armstrong

More songs for the youngest kids include

  1. Thank You Daddy (with a refrain using American Sign Language)
  2. My Daddy is Scratchy by Jamie Broza
  3. Daddy Be a Horsie by Hap Palmer
  4. Daddy do you Wanna by Susan Harrison

And watch this beautiful version of Song for Dad with Disney footage...

Happy listening and Happy Father's Day!!!  Be sure to add your favorite Daddy Songs below!
