Halloween Bowling
Halloween Bowling

Every Halloween Party needs fun party games.  Here's a party original from Florida mom and educator, Alyson Brooks.  Alyson makes these bowling games for all seasons - so keep this in mind to make "snowmen" for your child's WinterFest party.  Alyson says "the best thing about this idea is that her 7 year old helped decorate them for his class party".

What you need:

  1. 6-10 white plastic milk bottles, empty, cleaned and dried
  2. acrylic paint in theme colors
  3. permanent sharpie marker to draw faces on pins
  4. white rice to weigh down bottles - 1/2 inch per bottle
  5. "bowling" ball of choice - from another bowling set or inexpensive vinyl ball

There's no end to what you can do with this basic idea!  You can customize it with other art supplies, like foamy stickers.  You can paint other Halloween themes: candy corn, black cats, skeleton faces, witches, monsters.  As Alyson says, "go as far as your imagination can take you".

This idea works for home or school, indoors or outdoors.  ENJOY and Happy Halloween!
