The captivatingly intelligent and in-tuned authorship of Stephenie Meyer has certainly made its fair share of marks upon the world (and the hearts of her devoted fellowship of readers). Today, Meyer's work has brought upon her yet another well-deserved honor - the Forbes 2009 Celebrity 100.
Placing her at number 26 on the list, Forbes notes that 2008 was, for Meyer, an astoundingly prolific year. Noting the publication of her two books that year (The Host and Breaking Dawn) and the continued success of her three others (Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse), as well as the success of the Meyer-inspired film Twilight, Forbes refers to Meyer as "low-profile."
While it may be true that Meyer's privacy is respected by her fans, this is one author that is far from low profile.
Congratulations to Stephenie Meyer for yet another illustrious occasion of celebration for her work and unbelievable accomplishment.
