'Twilight' and 'New Moon' star Robert Pattinson screens Inglourious Basterds at Cannes

Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and Remember Me star Robert Pattinson showed up for the screening of the Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Kruger, Mike Myers, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak, and Julie Dreyfus film Inglourious Basterds today at the 62nd international film festival in Cannes (southern France).

There, while promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Remember Me, Pattinson has been photographed a great deal.

Below is a slideshow of some of yesterday's photographs of Pattinson at Cannes.

Inglourious Basterds is set for release in the United States on August 21, 2009. Its description is as follows:

In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.

Nice to see Pattinson rubbing elbows with Brad Pitt and Samuel L. Jackson, no? Thoughts?
