"Presented to the celebrity who officially broke out this year," The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Little Ashes, and How To Be star Robert Pattinson has just won the Bravo TV award for A-List Break Out for his part as Edward Cullen in Twilight.
Pattinson, who has been enjoying a rather busy and eventful year thus far, what with his success stemming from Twilight, his presentation at the Oscar's, the success of both pre-Twilight independent films he has worked on, How To Be and Little Ashes, also made a big splash with his performance on the How To Be soundtrack as well (full review available here).
With the close of the MTV Movie Awards voting polls yesterday (with he, the film, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Cam Gigandet (new Twilight Daddy - congrats!) nominated for awards), we're sure that this is one of many that Rob will be receiving for his work this year.
Robert Pattinson's receipt of this award is, to some, a no-brainer, and to others, an insult. Some of Rob's fans say that he "broke out" long ago, and that the fact that millions of Americans might know his name now is inconsequential to his star status in their minds.
So, what do you think? Is the award a postiive thing or does it undercut Rob's prior successes? Comment below and let us know!
