Twilight, its cast, and musicians are in the running for a whopping nine awards at the MTV Movie Awards! Twilight Sisterhood have given a rundown of the nominations (see here for the full list).

Needless to say, Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and Little Ashes and How to Be star Robert Pattinson, Adventureland and The Runaways (not to mention Twilight and New Moon) star Kristen Stewart, as well as Taylor Lautner, Cam Gigandet, and, shall we not forget, the Twilight film itself are all on the list of nominations. Did I mention that this includes annual fan-favorite categories such as "Best Kiss" and "Best Fight?"

You can vote for these stars and the film here. Oh, and, by the way, Twilight is a nominee for nine of the awards (leaving the likes of "Best Comedic Performance" - though, some might say, a character like Eric Yorkie might've fit the bill ... maybe?).

Be sure to go on and vote Twilight fans! Thanks to your tenacity, Twilight was able to score the Kid's Choice Award, so let's make a good showing at the MTV Movie Awards, too. I have no doubt that we can walk away nine-handed.
