This past week has been an absolute blitzkrieg of interviews, sightings, sound pieces, and new information related to The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
As a happy (and only slightly exhausted) propagator of that very kind of information, here's an overview of some of the main stories and interviews going around.
For starters, wolfpack henchman Alex Meraz did an interview with FearNet recently where he talked about his work as Paul. Particularly, Meraz discussed the "slap" scene that was featured in some of the new clips from New Moon, and he revealed his method of imagining that Bella's slap was but a mere impetus for him to transform and harm her anyway.
So in that scene, I'm thinking in my head, "Do something to make me change, so I can kill you." Just do something, because I'm itching to kill her. She's a nuisance, a problem. That was that way I did it in the scene, and of course she hits me, and that's enough to change me.
The full interview is available here.
Next up, producer Wyck Godfrey had an interview with "Making Of" where he talked about the production side of the Twilight saga film franchise. Twilight Lexicon has the scoop on further expectations that one might have for the "Making Of" series as it relates to the Twilight saga.
Taylor Lautner had a great interview with MovieHole where he talked about the transition from Twilight to The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. "When I filmed Twilight, I strictly focused on reading the first book, where the character is the opposite to what he is in the sequels," he revealed. You can read the rest here.
Finally, a new interview with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (the latter of which's Vanity Fair outtakes have been posted for your viewing pleasure here) has come about where both have an upbeat and positive take on the interviewer's words.
So, here's a question. Have you had enough or do you want more interviews with the cast and crew? Comment below and let us know!
