Seventeen Magazine's November edition is certainly geared towards fans of the Twilight series and those who look forward to The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The edition features Kristen Stewart as its cover girl, and the previewed quotes by Stewart are explored here.

The issue also promises to get behind the scenes of New Moon for new and interesting information about the forthcoming film.

One such secret revolves around how Peter Facinelli prepped for his role as Dr. Cullen in the film - particularly with regard to his infamous stitching scene.

To prepare for the scene when Carlisle is stitching up Bella's arm, Peter Facinelli bought chickens and sewed them together to practice the movement. He would then cook the chickens and eat them for dinner at his hotel room.

Other portions of the magazine will feature quotes from a good number of the cast. For instance, Nikki Reed was quoted to speak about her favorite scene in the film and how working with Chris Weitz made bringing it to life a lot smoother.

I think the voting scene was my favorite because it was very heartfelt and [director] Chris Weitz was very open with me playing with my dialogue, and I gave a really, I think, heartfelt speech at the end of that. It gave me the opportunity for the first time to show that Rosalie's not just a crazy nasty person, she's got a soul, and she genuinely cares about her brother and her family and the safety of everyone.

Another quote comes from Ashley Greene who talked about her relationship with Volturi castmate and English gentleman Michael Sheen.

Michael Sheen and I, for some reason, we bonded over this [funny] YouTube stuff, and so we would be cracking up, and then the scene would start and I was supposed to hate him, so it made it a little more difficult.

Kellan Lutz talked about a hypothetical cast fight and shared his optimism about his chances.

I'd beat everyone, even Taylor, no doubt. If they all tried to jump me, they might have a chance. Rob can slap pretty hard though.

Finally, Robert Pattinson gave Seventeen his fair share of zingers and parcels of insight about his work in New Moon. In this particular piece, he discussed his take on portraying Edward Cullen in New Moon.

I kind of just tried to make him a little bit more aware of the irony of the situation…a 109-year-old who's in love with a 17-year-old who he's pretending to go to school with.

The publication is also sponsoring a New Moon ticket giveaway contest, and details on that are available here.

Meanwhile the magazine's website has a ton more quotes and insights into the film available here, and the edition will also be available in physical copy shortly.
