Not sure which DVD to pull off the new release shelf? Need a new Blu-ray to show off in 1080p? Or maybe you're looking through the new releases on Netflix and don't know what to add to your queue?
This week you'll only find two new movies worth renting and one TV show you should definitely start watching if you haven't yet.
Revolutionary Road - Rent-it - As if Leo and Kate reuniting in an onscreen romance again wasn’t reason enough?
Defiance - Rent-it - A much-anticipated World War II film starring James Bond seems like a must-rent film, but in all actuality it is just barely worthy of "rent-it" status.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Seasons 1 & 2 - Rent-it - If you haven't caught this hilarious comedy that falls somewhere between FRIENDS, Entourage and Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place.
He's Just Not That Into You - Skip-it - The number of stars and house-hold faces in this film actually hurt the story. At 2 hours and 9 minutes, HJNTIY still isn't long enough to cover all the main characters.
Anacondas: Trail of Blood - Skip-it - If you thought the first one was bad, the bar has been buried underground by this sequel.
Movies re-released on Blu-ray format this week:
Glory - Buy-it - One of the best war movies ever made, especially re-done in 1080p high-def.
Fletch - Rent-it - One the most underrated comedies of all-time is actually funnier in HD.
Air Force One - Rent-it - Probably the coolest movie U.S. President of all time is Harrison Ford's President James Marshall.
Inside Man - Rent-it - I actually own this film (not on Blu-ray) but would definitely suggest it to all movie-goers, especially con-film fanatics.
Out of Time - Rent-it - Another Denzel Washington film I own and one that is definitely worth seeing more than once.
The Graduate - Skip-it on Blu-ray - Unless you've never seen Anne Bancroft's "Mrs. Robinson seduction" before.
