As Massachusetts residents observe the fifth anniversary of the state's legalization of same-sex marriage, one lucky person has the chance to win a free trip a trip for two to join in the celebration.
The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism is currently sponsoring a random drawing for round-trip transportation on American Airlines for two from any major US American Airlines Gateway City and a 3-night stay at a luxury Boston hotel.
Entries may be submitted until June 30, 2009 and the winner will be drawn on July 15, 2009. The prize package is valid for one year from date of winner’s receipt of package.

The Office of Travel and Tourism recently announced that Gay.com awarded Provincetown it’s “Favorite Resort Town” as part of its 2009 Travel Awards. It is the fifth year in a row that the Massachusetts seaside city has won the award. Likewise, Boston recently ranked among the top 10 U.S. destinations for gay leisure travel in the 13th Annual LGBT Tourism Study by Community Marketing, Inc., a marketing and research firm that specializes in gay tourism.
