The gay-friendly Red Carnation Hotels has become part of the CLUBHOTEL network, a paid membership based loyalty program that allows its members to receive preferential room rates and other benefits.

Red Carnation has 13 boutique hotels located in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Geneva, Switzerland, and US. Four hotels in the Red Carnation portfolio were nominated to the prestigious Condé Nast Gold List 2009, a readers' poll of the world's best places to stay. Those hotels are: The Milestone  (London), 41 (London), The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa (Cape Town) and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Retreat (South Africa's Western Cape).

The cost to join the CLUBHOTEL membership program is $150 annually.   Benefits include:

  • Discounted dining when accompanied by one or more guests.
  • Unlimited use of preferred room rates with savings up to 65% off publicly available published rates.
  • Reduced car rental rates from Avis.
  • Special local programs include additional benefits including complimentary nights or Buy One Get One Night Free certificates.
