Following an arduous week of battling Somali pirates and fending off news reports of the untimely demise of the King of Pop, dear Farrah and the reputed deaths of many others, you're going to need a good cleansing experience.
The good folks at the The SháNah Spa and wellness at Bishop’s Lodge Resort & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M. have just the ticket. Through July 31, they're featuring the Tesuque Clay Body Wrap.
It is described as a 50-minute treatment that starts with a "light dry exfoliation of the skin, then a mineral-rich clay masque is applied to the entire body to nourish and detoxify the skin."
Would that the same could be ordered up for the Earth's psyche.
Other treatments offered include the "Purification Body Polish" and the "Herbal Detox." Resort guests also have access to fitness classes, a workout room, tennis and swimming.
The spa claims honors from Condé Nast Johansens as being among the most outstanding in North America and the Caribbean.
