This event is a bit more than a month away, but it's still never too early to make plans for an evening of No Limit Texas Hold 'em featuring sports celebs and stars of the screens and all for a good cause.
The Celebrity Poker Challenge set for April 24 at Morgan Run Resort & Club in Rancho Santa Fe is one of the featured events at the San Diego Celebrity Classic golf tournament.
Proceeds benefit San Diego Pro Kids, which is one of the model outfits affiliated with the First Tee organization. Pro Kids' mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of inner-city youth using the game of golf as an educational tool, develop character and help then learn life- skills and values.
