Courtesy: San Diego County Fair
Twenty two days of "Music Mania" starts today at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and runs for 22 days, ending July 5. (closed two Mondays, June 15 and 22).

$10 per vehicle (RVs, $15)
Hours
Gates open: 10 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and Friday, July 3; 11 a.m. other days
Gates close: 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 p.m. other nights
Grounds close: Approximately midnight Friday and Saturday; approximately 11 p.m. other nights.
Exhibit and Shopping Buildings
All buildings and exhibits open: 10 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and Friday, July 3; 11 a.m. other days
Closing times:
Shopping buildings, Flower and Garden Show exhibit, Design in Wood, Gems and Minerals, Home and Hobby, Student Showcase, Art and Photo: 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 p.m. other nights. Open until midnight on July 3 and 4.
AgriFair and Livestock exhibits: 10 p.m. every night, including July 3 and 4.
Kids' Best: 9 p.m. every night, including July 3 and 4.
World of Horses and The Farm exhibits: Dusk every night (between 7:30 and 8:00PM). World of Horses closes at the end of the day July 2.
Fun Zone and Kiddieland
Opens 10 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays; noon other days
Kiddieland closes: Approximately 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; approximately 10 p.m other nights. Fun Zone closes: Approximately midnight Friday and Saturday; approximately 11 p.m. other nights.
Three "must rides" (for the strong of stomach)
1) Crazy Mouse
2) Sky Flier
3 Fast Tracks
Ranging from tribute bands and "American Idols" to Melissa Etheridge and comedian Bill Engvall.
