With only 5 wins coming in, you couldn't blame anyone for thinking the Bulls (16-21) were going to win easily against the NBA's worst team record-wise, Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Bulls however must have had the same attitude and got outplayed by the Thunder to end the fourth and outscored them 15-4 in overtime for a 109-98 loss. This maybe the most painful let down of the season so far.
If you could point to any factors that led to this loss, it would be a stat isn't a category and that's hustle..
The Bulls were out rebounded 59-37, including giving up 22 offensive rebounds. The Thunder got to the line 34 times, converting on 28 of them while the Bulls only managed to get their 18 times making 13.
Hopefully this loss won't sit for them too long because after a day off, the Portland Trailblazers (21-14) on Monday. If you can remember, the Bulls suffered their worst loss of the season to the Blazers on Nov. 19, falling 116-74.
