I was asked earlier today would Derrick Rose be playing in any of the Bulls four remaining preseason games and my answer is, hopefully, he'll get some limited minutes in the last game of preseason on Oct. 23 against the Washington Wizards just to see where he's at.
Rose hurt his ankle the first game of preseason, a 104-95 win against the Indiana Pacers.
Rose spoke with reporters Monday about the injury;
"I have fluid around my ankle and around my tendons," Rose said. "They're just waiting for the fluid to get loose, so it can relieve some pressure on my ankle."
He also spoke about his conditioning, which he was disappointed in;
"Right now they're treating it using a lot of [stimulation] on it," he said. "They're massaging it and making me do a lot of things ... for motion in my ankle and running on the treadmill. I'm kind of mad about my conditioning, but I have to do this to get back in shape."

You can be sure the Bulls will take every precaution with Rose and make sure he is as close to normal as possible before letting him take the floor.
Tyrus Thomas is also being held out of play with a right hip injury and hasn't practiced since last Friday.
Both, should probably be excused from preseason play.
