The Albuquerque Thunderbirds (Tbirds) have been busy this summer selling season tickets.  Now they've moved offices, are getting ready to start open team try-out and are also having try-outs for the Storm Chasers dancers.  All the details about these happenings are below, along with contact information. 

Ease on down the road...

The Tbirds are in a new office at 5604 Menaul Blvd. NE.  The office is located between San Pedro and San Mateo on Menaul and they hope they're fans will stop by to say hello and buy tickets.

When Coach says jump, you say how high...

The Thunderbirds are gearing up for the first of two local team tryouts.  The first tryout camp has been scheduled for July 11-12th, 2009 at Highland High School.  For details on trying out for the team, please email Coach Coffino at:  coachcoffino@abqtbirds.com or call (505) 265-3865.

So you think you can dance...

The Tbirds are holding auditions for the 2009-2010 Storm Chasers dance team on July 25-26, 2009.  The preliminary audition will be held on the 25th, with the call back audition on the 26th. 

Auditions will take place at Duke City Stars Dance Center, located at 4900 Jefferson St. NE, Suites E & F.  Registration is $15 before July 24th and $20 on the day of the audition.   

Registration will take place from 11:00-11:30 a.m., on the 25th, with auditions taking place from 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., each day.  Females over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.  If selected for the team, dancers need to have a flexible schedule for practices, games and promotions beginning in August.
