You got to hand it to Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle, not only is he talented and prolific, but it's no easy task predicting who, where, or what he'll make his next film about.

So after making this decade's best sci-fi film, (Sunshine) and turning a Slumdog Millionaire into a Slumdog Billionaire, Danny's deciding that it's time to do a Saw movie.

No, not that kind of Saw movie. This kind of Saw movie.

Remember that hiker in Utah who got his arm pinned by that massive boulder trapping him in place? And he started starving and dying of thirst and was forced to hydrate on his own urine? And then after five days of excruciating pain andf urine consumption he did what most of us civvies only have nightmares about, (other than drinking our own pee-pee) he sawed off his own arm with a dull Leatherman blade to escape? And that escape also included climbing a 65' sheer rock wall - one arm shy of a pair?

Yeah, that guy's name is Aron Ralston. He survived the ordeal and now Danny Boyle and Fox Searchlight want to make the movie 127 Hours about the experience. Production starts in early 2010 with a planned holiday 2010 release date. So I guess we have that to look forward to.
