The little fat man on the midway said it best: "Hurry, hurry, step right up and win a prize!"
I'm betting this international Avatar trailer is pulled from circulation before too long this morning. Which means I better make like a butter clam and shut the hell up so you guys can hurry-hurry and watch this movie trailer before it's zapped off into Jimmy Cameron country...

Trailer Critique: So this new Avatar trailer's a bit more "talky" then the last one eh? I kind of liked the last trailer more. Flashes of images. Great music. Here we get a broader peak into the world of Avatar, but other than that amazing shot of the Pandora moon orbiting its mother planet I didn't really see much here I haven't seen before. Of course that mysterious Borat language was hogging-up a major chunk of screen space. I didn't know 20th Century Fox was releasing this film in Kazakhstan....
I can tell you one thing I didn't need. I could have done without the pre-battle motivational speaker speech at the end of the trailer. No matter how many movies I've seen this same speech in lately, (Tonight we dine in HELL!) it still rings kind of blase' to me. Pre-battle motivational speaker did make my list of favorite movie cliches last year - but that doesn't mean I wanted to see it rearing its ugly head in a James Cameron flick.
Oh well, I'm still getting in line for Avatar tomorrow... I figure six weeks standing on a Seattle street corner buffeted by winter weather systems and the appeals of the homeless to share my wine and cherished thoughts on film oughta' get James Cameron's attention... Yeah right.
Avatar opens in theaters nationwide December 18th.
